If your dream job is working with animals, we can give you the academic understanding and practical skills to make this a reality.

We run two distinct Animal programmes at Writtle. Animal Management focusses on everything about the animal – from welfare to breeding – with a strong emphasis on animal husbandry skills. Animal Science is a biology-based degree including the study of genomics, biotechnology and biochemistry so you can understand the science behind animal health and disease, growth and development.

In both programmes, we offer named pathways in Pet Behaviour, Zoo and Wildlife Conservation and Livestock Technology. Visit our course presentations to find out more.
