Support Teams

Below are members of staff who work in our support teams at Writtle University College. At a University Open day or College Open event you can expect to meet our great support services who can give advice on careers, student finance, well-being, learning support, accommodation and more.

Mark Yates

Careers Advisor

‘Hi, I am part of the careers and employability team. You can come to me on an open day and ask about a whole range of topics, like where different courses can lead onto career wise or further study for after their first degree. Lots of students talk to me whilst studying about getting relevant work experience, internships and placements during their time at university. Some questions I get asked at an open day are about what different careers students go onto after a specific degree - this doesn't always mean doing something related to your degree subject. For instance one of our marketing team did an equine degree here! If you have any questions similar to this, please pop me an email to mark.yates@Writtle.ac.uk and I will be happy to help.'"
