Did you know that 51% of UK homes own a pet - including 9.5 million dogs, 11 million cats, and 1.5 million rabbits? The veterinary industry needs dedicated nurses who are committed to looking after and improving the health and welfare of our much-loved companions.
To study Veterinary Nursing at WUC, you will be interested in animals, biological sciences, anatomy and physiology. You will be good at problem-solving and be prepared to uphold a position of responsibility in a complex and high-pressured environment.
This is a work-based qualification; to apply you must already be employed as a student veterinary nurse in an approved training practice. There, you'll complete 1,800 practical hours and will attend WUC one day a week.
Study Veterinary Nursing at WUC and you will become a registered professional with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) and be licensed to practice as a qualified Veterinary Nurse.
